“We must take care of the vegetation that exists in the city”

Dhelma is a native of Nayarit; however, she grew up in Michoacán and earned her medical degree there. She also studied clinical nutrition, aesthetic medicine, anti-aging nutrition, practicing in institutions such as Juárez Hospital in Mexico City and in Cuernavaca, Guadalajara and Argentina.
After having lived in several regions of the country in order to enhance her knowledge, she, along with her husband, chose to reside in Puerto Vallarta, a city she was familiar with thanks to the businesses her family managed in San Francisco, Nayarit.

“I had the opportunity to know San Pancho when it was just a jungle. We would see the wild boars and their offspring come down to drink water. We were able to see the vegetation and the beauty that small town Puerto Vallarta was back then.”

Her favorite place in the city is the Malecon, since she loves walking, window shopping, and enjoying the energy of the ocean, especially very early in the day since she likes to jog all the way to Olas Altas.

“I love the vegetation that we have near the city, and like to visit San Pancho for the extensive variety of plants and animals one can observe, immersed in a sea of freshness provided by the fauna and flora.”

It’s been nine years now since she decided to live here in Puerto Vallarta, and she has dedicated herself to the care and beauty of the people of Puerto Vallarta, opening a medical spa in Marina Vallarta where she offers a complete line of services for the treatment of obesity and skin care, using state-of-the-art technology and the latest equipment from Europe.

Since she has earned a good re****tion, she always has lots of work. Nonetheless, she always finds some free time, which she uses to enjoy a good book, a habit she inherited from her grandmother at a very early age.

“My two favorite hobbies are reading a good book and spending time with my family. I still have two teenage children I have to guide, and whom I enjoy spending time with.”

Her favorite places are:
• La Dolce Vita
• La Piazzetta
• Mariscos Tino’s
