Mexico City experienced the birth of Marco, whom from a very early age became interested in entering the complicated world of beauty; upon reaching his 19th birthday, he was already practicing this profession. He has always trained himself in the latest fashion trends. In 1980 he formed part of a team which represented Mexico during the world stylist championship which was held in the city of Paris, France, and they were declared the winners.
He arrived in Puerto Vallarta 30 years ago and opened his own shop, enchanted by the city he decided to open a franchise under the international brand “Sebastian” which due to the high quality of the services he offered his clientele; has remained number one in the city for the past three decades.
“There have been many stylists from here who have opened their own beauty shops lately, and this makes me very happy because I have always believed in sharing our knowledge and if they decide to go their own way, I fully support them”.
His beauty shop is a sanctuary, a place in which he likes to maintain a pleasing ambiance, he considers that any person who visits Hair Salon Sebastian must be pampered and treated well.
“I have traveled to may countries and I have always said that Puerto Vallarta has the friendliest people in the entire world; since my arrival to this city, I have always been welcomed with open arms and the inhabitants of this port have always extended their friendships”.
Marco comments that he has also been very faithful to this city, as such, his business has continued to survive despite the high and low seasons, he affirms that one must learn to live through the crisis; as a matter of fact he expressed his liking of bad vibes, as such, he confirms that they help improve him, by being more creative and seeing life through different eyes, he considers challenging times interesting and without them life would be very dull.
“Despite the fact that I am always innovating and training in new technologies, I don’t wish to make a fortune, I always try to pace myself and perform my work with joy, but at the same time, I give myself time to visit with and commingle with my family, as they are my biggest treasure”.
