Hey!
Knows someone if is true that Playa del Sol is now a Gay hotel?? And if it does, would you recommend it me???

The rumour is true: Playa del Sol has changed their name to Blue Seas and is now marketing themselves as "Gay Friendly".
When I called them to ask what that meant, I was told only that during low season the majority of the clientele in this condo-style resort on the beach in the Romantic Zone are gay, however in high season (roughly November to March), most clients are families with children.

I have since been down to Los Muertos Beach and found the Blue Seas to be EXTREMELY gay friendly. The music is great, the beach chairs are classy and the bar area elegant. Think: upscale version of Blue Chairs! and enjoy!
