Hola everyone,

Philo here.

I'm baaaack again. I had a wonderful time at the Mendocino 70's reunion festival. I was joined by my Mexican Shuffle Band. Oscar on sax, Leon on washboard and Peggy on bass. Carlos the drummer couldn't make it so my old friend and used to be Shuffle band drummer, Tommy Kendal join us on drums. What a great time I had with all my old hippy friends from the North Coast of California. There were 7 bands in all that played. Like fine wine and old fiddles, they all have improved with age. And the women, they're still soooo beautiful.

Summer is almost over, so hurry back everyone, I miss you. Things have changed a bit since you left. Lazaro Cardenas street in Bucerius is finished as well as the main street of La Cruz from the traffic light to the Marina. They're like boulevards now. Lots of new things for you to see. I'll keep the light on and the beer cold for you.

When you do return please remember to bring Christmas gifts for the Children. Santa says small stocking stuff works out well. Santa will once again be handing out some 350 to 400 gifts to the children of La Cruz this year at our free annual pot luck dinner.

Big thank you to the Magazine, Bay Vallarta for printing not one but two articles about Philo's in their latest additions. So thank you Jim and Christina. And thank you, once again, to all of you that sent in Photos.

Again, for those of you who are remaining here for the summer and wish to vote in the election and need an absentee ballot go to www.VoteFromAbroad.org.

The first step is to check and see if you are still registered. Call your county clerks office and they will tell you.

The second step, (if you are not registered), is to go one line and download a registration form. (In some states they will let you Fax in your registration form).

The third step is to request a ballot from your County where you are registered. But hurry, the time is running out. Some states will also let you fax in your ballot, but you will still need to send in the ballot by mail. It takes a long time to receive mail from Mexico, so if you think you will be short of time, check out the fax option in your State.

Please vote. This maybe the most important election of our life time.
