Hola everyone,
Philo here.
The season is almost upon us and people are starting to trickle back. We are currently busy preparing for the onslaught. One of the things we are doing is combining our two kitchens, and as a consequence we will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday this week. We are very excited about the coming season and are hopeful that everyone returns safe and sound.
We are starting to plan our first trip to San Sebastian, which tentatively will either be on Sunday Nov 23 or Sunday Nov 30. Most of you know how it works. Philo and the Mexican Shuffle band take a road trip to a beautiful 400 year old village, one hour and forty five min from here, located at an elevation of 5,000 ft in the mountains. We book every hotel room in the village. Last year we booked 54 rooms and accommodated about 100 people. We provide a room, a catered dinner and a concert, which is held in the hotel/old fort located in the center of town. The cost this year for all this will be $70 per person. We did 3 of these trips last year and they were all sold out in the first few days after the announcements. So, anyone interested? Send me an email or stop by Philo's and I will add your name to the list.

Those of you returning soon, please remember to bring Christmas gifts for the Children. Santa says small stocking stuff works out well. Santa will once again be handing out some 350 to 400 gifts to the children of La Cruz this year at our annual free Christmas pot luck dinner.
